## “Can we launch?”

Three pieces of source material belong to one project, Beacon launch:

- Launch plan: “Build ready.”
- Requirements: “Security approval required before launch.”
- Security review: “Approval pending. Maya owns the security review.”

Neither organizes extracted facts into the project’s records. Your AI retrieves structured context and sources through MCP, then combines that evidence: “Not yet. Security approval is missing.”

This is a fictional illustration. Neither supplies records and evidence; the AI produces the answer. Open the sources to check the conclusion.

## What the context graph adds

Extracted facts merge into existing records and a project hierarchy. Surrounding project context informs retrieval. MCP returns selected records, supporting excerpts, and source references for the AI to use. The available context depends on the sources added and the quality of extraction.

Ask your AI to add a note, import selected Markdown and text files, or connect an available work tool. Neither does not automatically record chats. New material is processed before retrieval.

Neither works with MCP in two ways. Cursor and Claude Desktop connect with a local MCP server (stdio, Node.js 20 or later). ChatGPT connects with the hosted MCP URL https://api.neither.online/mcp in developer mode on the web. ChatGPT Pro can retrieve Neither context; saving from ChatGPT requires Business, Enterprise, or Edu developer mode. Some other HTTP-only hosts may still be unable to connect.
